15 Photoshop tips to increase your productivity

I don't consider myself to be a power user of Photoshop but I use a few shortcuts that really make my life easier. I have compiled a list of some of the lesser known tips that can really help make your life easier. Take the time to learn the ones that you find most useful. Chances are your productivity will increase and you will feel better knowing that your more efficient.
NOTE: Key commands are for macintosh. However, if you use a PC version substitute the following key combinations. (mac Command = PC Control, mac Option = PC Alt, mac control = PC Command)
- Change the opacity of a layer simply by typing the number. Single numbers represent whole 10 percent values for example 4=40%, or type exact numbers for example 22=22%
- Right click or control click the filename on the window bar to reveal a file's location or any folder to it from your hard drive. Selecting a folder in the list, opens up the folder in the finder. No more command+O to open and navigate to a folder or file [screenshot]
- Command+J to duplicate your current layer. If you make a selection first it will move only the selected content to a new layer
- Shift+Command+N Makes a new layer with the option to name it first. I'm an organized person, and name all my layers or it drives me crazy. [screenshot]
- Hold command key when adding a new layer to add your new layer below the currently selected layer [screenshot]
- Hold the option key when creating a new layer or Adjustment Layer to add clipping mask options to selected layer [screenshot]
- Shift + (plus) or Shift – (minus) to change a layer blend mode one selection at a time
- Expand or contract a selection uniformly by entering quick mask mode and select Filter>Other>Maximum or Minimum [screenshot]
- Option+Merge Visible merges all visible layers but leaves all your current layers intact and does not flatten your layers
- Option +[ or Option +] to jump up or down a layer, less obvious is Option +.(period) jumps to top layer or Option +,(comma) to select Bottom layer
- Option+Delete to fill a layer with foreground color, Command+Delete Fill layer with background color
- Check the transparency lock on a layer so that you can fill an object with a new color, gradient or pattern [screenshot]
- Select and drag down the eyes to turn off or on large groups of layers all at once [screenshot]
- With Move tool selected right click or control click an object that you want to select. A fly-out menu will show all elements directly below your pointer [screenshot]
- Option+Command+I to bring up Image Size dialogue.
