sIFR3

A while back I started working on a sIFR text replacement plugin for mango blog. For what ever reason I stopped working on it and there it sat on my hard drive wasting away. So rather then have it waste away I thought I would post it here for you all to take a look at and maybe add to it. The plugin currently works as is. You can test it using the really bad font I included with the download or use the sIFR Generator to test your own.

Known Bugs: Advanced styling not working properly. Better to style with theme css.

Plugin version:
1.0

A friend of mine wanted to use a non-system font on his site so I was actually going to make a sIFR plugin this weekend. You saved me a bit of time. Can't wait to give it a try!

Great David! I wish I had posted it earlier. I never use sIFR so I never made it a priority to complete. Hope you can give it the time it needs to become a valuable plugin.

    Looks cool! Two things though:

    1) maybe it's a nice idea to add an option for a transparent background ? (wmode: 'transparent') into the replace method ?
    2) I can't seem to change the font. Everytime I enter a diff fontname it defaults back to the original..

    cheers.

@jax there needs to be a lot more work done on it to make it work as good as it should. I just don't have the time to devote on it. I was hoping someone would take over where I left off.

I'm very pleased to find this plugin. I may give it a spin on a few blogs.

When you de-activate in Mango 1.4 and then click delete, it appears to succeed but this message is displayed:

Plugin was removed, but it was not able to clean up: The method remove was not found in component /www/dev/blogs/csblog/components/plugins/user/sIFR3/Handler.cfc.
